How to Learn English in a Variety of Ways.

I don’t think you can learn foreign language without any aims. And you must have your goal to get the skill to communicate with someone.

Lyrics or scripts are living. And those words have their backgrounds. So you can learn English effectively through music and movies.

It’s probably easy to remember the plural form, for example, “child” and “ox” are “children” and “oxen”, but it’s difficult to answer immediately those of “focus” and “index” are “foci” and “indices” each. These are the conjugated form coming from Latin.

However, it seems that it has been changing recently in native speakers. You can see the changing in the movie “Top Gun” (1986) <00:26:45>

As you know, “data” is the plural form of “datum”. As seen from the above, it sometimes happens that this word is used as the singular form. The word “media” is the same above. So the rules of vocabularies from Latin have been gone by slow degrees.
